A moment in India

March 14, 2009

Every day, I have felt like sobbing- sandwiched between the weight of my loss and the unadulterated Gospel of Christ, smothered in the compliments of grief, overcome by all its ingredients and seasoned by Christ’s  illustrations displayed before my eyes.

There is no need to modernize the words of Christ. Daily bread, water form the well, poverty of stomach and soul need no dressing up here. The images are blinding.

On the edge of emptiness, I find fullness in Him. In my despair, I sense His peace. When I understand that I am nothing, I realize my worth and use.
